Welcome to Textual Visual: User Experience Design

Welcome to Textual Visual, the Online Home of Raleigh, NC-based UX Professional J. Wilton Williams. My portfolio will be appearing soon. I am in the process of redesigning the site and the portfolio will be the final stage of development. This is simply a test. I recognize that there is no real information here, but that will change soon, I promise. Vivamus blandit sodales lectus. Nullam ac nunc. Maecenas quis leo eget est accumsan vestibulum. Suspendisse in tortor. Phasellus velit orci; auctor at, pretium quis, porta in, massa. Etiam viverra odio eget sapien. Praesent facilisis. Mauris feugiat mauris vitae magna. Mauris enim lacus, pharetra ac, accumsan id, lacinia vitae; tellus? Suspendisse potenti. Duis in enim? Duis non turpis. Aliquam ligula. Nam rutrum velit sed pede.

Sed eleifend eleifend urna. Duis tempus. Nam adipiscing hendrerit urna. Curabitur libero leo, rhoncus aliquam; lobortis quis; faucibus quis, est? Maecenas non lectus at velit tristique pulvinar.

    Test Posting

This is a test to see how Tumblr works. This would be a great place to post stuff I do not want to place on my blog.

This is an example of a blog posting. I am curious to see how this introductory area should appear. Should I use one of the text limiting (character or word?) plugins? How do those plugins work? Do they display the specified number of words and then an ellipsis? That is how I believe they function but we shall see.

Thanks for the screencast! Ever since Playa came out, I haven’t used Mark Huot’s multi-relation extension. I was trying to do what you did, but with Playa, which actually rewrites that area of the CP where the radio button for relating to a gallery sits.

I really wish Playa could handle this…because it’s a Multi-Relation extension that allows you to arbitrarily order the results - extremely handy field type to have, if you haven’t tried it. Wonder if I could modify it to pull entries from a gallery, even showing a little thumbnail

From the preliminary screenshots I’ve seen of something Leevi Graham is working on…well, let’s say there’s some cool stuff sitting on his hard drive, and it might render this thread moot. Thanks again for taking the time to make the screencast.
